A Payroll Master is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process within an organization. Also ensures that all aspects of payroll are managed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, supporting the organization’s financial and operational goals.
- Payroll Processing – ensure accurate & the timely processing of payroll, including calculating accurate wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Compliance: ensure that payroll practices are in full compliance with relevant laws & regulations, such as tax laws and labor laws.
- Record Keeping – maintain accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
- Issues Resolution – able to address & resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly & correctly.
- Reporting: generate & distribute payroll reports for management, customers & and other stakeholders if & when needed.
- System Management – manage & update payroll systems and software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Auditing: conducting regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Employee Communication – provide support & information to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
- Benefits Administration – coordinate with HR to manage employee benefits and ensure accurate deductions.
- Process Improvement – identify & implement improvements to the payroll process for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any related courses
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in Payroll
• Must have detailed knowledge of accounting and payroll procedures
• Responsible for the processing of payroll and payroll-related tasks such as
Alphalist, 13th month pay and similar tasks
• Ensure accurate, complete and on-time payroll of employees,
• Attends to employees concerns on payroll
• Attention Detailed, Critical Thinker & maintains confidently.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Minimum of a college degree, preferably in Business course but not
necessary.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
• Ability to respond to concerns promptly & be able to give advic & accurate
information.
• Competence multiple queries and address issues promptly.
• Ability to work in different time zone based on client location.
